My Birthday is tomorrow so why not celebrate it by purchasing my first pair of ... wait for it... bifocal glasses! Yeah, that's right, I said it - bifocals! I currently wear reading glasses which I like because I can take them on and off as I please without wearing them all the time. However, being that I'm going to take some college courses, I don't want to take them off and on while in class reading, and paying attention to the instructor. So, I picked out a nice pair with the help of the very friendly lady at the optical store. She asked me if I wanted the progressive lenses (where you can't tell they are bifocals) and I said "of course, does anyone wear the ones with the lines on the lenses anymore?" She laughed and responded "only the older men who want a cheap pair of glasses and don't care what they look like!" She was too funny. I should have them in next week... here's a pic for now:
