There are times in our lives when we look back and say "Gee, I wish we had done _____." Well, Mike and I had one of those moments today. Previously, we had planted ground cover in our front garden area only to realize it was not the right choice of plant. Of course, being in Florida, we also had the issue of "Hey, the mulch is floating down the driveway again" with all the rain that we get here. So, with the help of my brother in law Tim who about a month ago, took on the tedious job of ripping out the ground cover and mulch, and my brother who I'll say is an excellent rock-go-getter and rock spreader, and myself who also picked up a shovel and unloaded my share of rock, our garden has transformed into the "Why didn't we think of doing this 3 years ago" project. I LOVE IT! Thanks to all the hard work from the "brothers" - ok, and even you too Missy! (She did take on a few shovel-fulls herself!) We're still going to pick up a few nice flower pots so I can still have some plants there but at least I can replace them and not have to worry about digging up plants and replacing mulch all the time! Here are some before and after pics!
The greatest husband, dad, friend and computer guru! Relaxed, loving, and definitely the smartest guy I know. He also has a humorous side that shines unexpectedly!
My oldest: Jennah, our 9 yr old fashionista! Loves art, and fashion. Models for anything. Humorous yet serious at the same time. A very caring big sister and daughter. Laughable, loveable and knows no enemy - a complete girly girl.
My youngest: Kaylee, she's 5, my full time job, loves her big sister, very independent and hates it when she can't get "her way", being cute is her profession.
Annie and Tigger
Annie's our new little puppy. The world is her chew toy as well as her bathroom. I believe she's the reason people have wood floors. For now, her cuteness makes her tolerable! Tigger, our cat, he's the boss and he owns us. Need I say more.
