Ahhhhh, a weekend

Finally, the weekend has arrived. I've yet to overcome post-cruise sleepiness! Of course, Kaylee hasn't helped with that. She still insists that we all must wake up by 7am even on weekends! I went to a candle party today which was very nice... no kids! Just adults chatting and spending money! I picked up a few things that I thought would look nice around my home. Other than that, we really didn't do much. I love these relaxing days!

As promised, here is the link to our photo site... I haven't tagged all the pics yet. That's Mike's job as he knows the trick to doing them as a batch. If you click the link below, it should take you directly to our photo page.. once there, on the right side, you'll see a box that says Caribbean 2009. Click on that to view our recent trip pics. Or if you want to, you can look through any of the sets! Enjoy!

still uploading

Well, I'm still uploading our pics of our cruise. I should be done today though. I can only upload 100 at a time and we took over 600 pics. It sounds like a lot but that's between three of us with cameras. Anyway, here's a pic my mom took of the girls one day after they did face painting in the kids playroom. I was surprised Kaylee let them paint her face. In fact, she loved it so much, she cried when I washed it off! Oh well, there will be plenty more face paintings in her life!

laundry

Another uneventful day today. I was so tired for some reason. I guess it could have been from staying up late last night. Our washing machine decided it was going to get stuck on a cycle and I didn't notice it until after the news which was about 11:30pm. So, I stayed up and re-washed the clothes and put them in the dryer. Yawwwnnnn. This laundry stuff is for the birds!! It's a never ending, vicious cycle in our house. If anyone has any creative laundry ideas for a family of four who are always doing laundry, I could use some help!! LOL

Back to "normal"

I didn't blog last night as there wasn't any new news being that we were only home for a day. I guess I could have told you how fun unpacking was or that I had a great time doing laundry! NOT! Things are getting back to normal - well, normal for us anyway! The girls went back to school and so forth. I did get an interesting phone message while we were gone. The school wants to test Jennah for the gifted program. We are pretty excited about that. The forms came home with her yesterday so I turned them back in this morning - we'll see how she does on the evaluation test. Other than that, it was the same ole stuff. Here are a few more pics of our trip:

My very first meal on board. Roast, carrots, beans,
potato wedge and some cheese. Mmmmmmm - lunch!

Movies Under the Stars anyone! Here, you
can lounge by or in the pool and watch a movie!
We took advantage of this at night time!
A church on the island of Grand Turk. Notice
it still has a tarp roof from when hurricane Ike
hit the island back on Sept 7th 2008.
Yes, the water was this color at Grand Turk!
Beautiful.

We're Baaccckkk!

Well, we're back from our cruise. Needless to say, I'd rather still be on board the ship. After all, there's no one here to wait on me hand and foot. I even had to get my own drink tonight for dinner!! Anyway, we had an excellent time, got some sun, ate way too much and even drank a Pina Colada or two! The girls did great on board! They both really enjoyed the Princess Pelican play room. Of course, no one enjoyed it as much as mommy and daddy!! I'm going to keep this short as I have a ton of things to get done before morning. Here are a few pics for you to enjoy...
